I was born in Quanitico, Virginia, to a Marine Corps officer and as such, have lived in a score of places in the U.S. from Newport, Rhode Island to Kaneohe, Hawaii.  When my father was serving in Viet Nam for three tours, my family would return to my parents' home in Boise, where I attended McKinnely Elementary, West Junior High and Borah High School.  I received my BS in electrical engineering from "The" University of Idaho and my teaching certificate from BSU.  I have spent my entire teaching career from 1989 to present at Capital High School, in Room 218 and have loved every moment being a Capital Eagle.  While my love is math, my passion is getting kids to understand it and possibly even enjoy it!
