Welcome to Capital high school. Anatomy & Physiology is a challenging college level course designed to provide the student with a thorough understanding of the structure and function of the human body.  If you come to class every-day with an interest in how your body works and a mindset to learn and work hard, you can and will achieve the grade you desire. Along with a good grade you will also develop a greater understanding of how your body functions and develop tools required to be successful in many college classes.


Biology is a sophomore level course designed to provide the student with a general understanding of Biology.  In the first semester we will look at the biochemistry and make up of cells, the Bacterial Kingdom, the Protist Kingdom, Plant Kingdom along with photosynthesis and the Animal Kingdom along with respiration. In semester two we will look at cell division, genetics, evolution of life and ecology.

If you come to class every-day with a work ethic you can and will achieve the grade you desire. Along with a good grade you will also develop a greater understanding of how all life on our planet has a role to play and the interactions with other life that makes that role possible.
