At School Help

How the "at school" Writing Center works

There will be editors available to help every day during lunch in Ms. Zumwalt's room (231). You can come in and get help immediately, or you can make an appointment with an editor.

Please note that when the center is busy, it will run on a first-come first-serve basis. Appointments can be made with specific editors.

Editors will lead you through the process of how the center works. You will be able to "sign in" as proof of visit.

What students should bring

Please bring...

1) Your writing (paper format would be great)

2) Any requirements, guidelines, rubrics (or anything along those lines) that  come with the writing

3) Some questions you have on your writing. This can range from improving grammar and word choice, making better transitions, or simply getting help on a place to start.

Bringing these things will making the editing process a lot smoother, and the editor will be able to give more and better feedback about the writing.
