Community Education Instructor Spotlight

Lois Morgan

Lois Morgan, who is in her 90’s, was born in Nampa and resides in Boise with her grandson, Jake. Lois retired in 2000 from high school teaching and counseling. She enjoys the Boise senior center where she has many friends to play cards with and participate in their programs. She also goes to the Y, walks, and visits with family and friends among other activities. She attributes her healthy lifestyle to eating nutritious foods, thinking positive thoughts, cultivating healthy relationships, and, of course, exercising!

Lois is always excited to share her morning exercises that have been so vital to her health for more than 50 years. Her 7-minute routine begins before getting out of bed. It stimulates the organs and glands and tunes up muscles and joints to get your body ready for the day. Community ED has provided Lois with nearly two decades of fulfillment, meeting so many wonderful people in the Wake Up/Tone Up classes.

This Spring, Lois is teaching WAKE UP/TONE UP!
