Assistance League of Boise is looking for 25 students to get volunteer and leadership experience.

NROTC Nurse Corps- Navy Scholarship Program for aspiring nurses

NROTC Navy Pre-Med Scholarship- Navy Program for aspiring doctors.

10/30-11/12- Applications for summer wildland fire positions are available- check out all the opportunities here!

11/5- Idaho Department of Labor Boise Hiring Event: from 2-4:30pm at the Chinden Campus

11/6- Sun Valley Culinary School Info Night- @ Anthony's in Boise from 5-6pm

11/21- Silverhawk Aviation Academy Open House: Check out programs, simulators and more!

1/22- High School Theatre, Film and Creative Writing Festival @ Boise State from 8am-1:30pm: registration DUE January 8

2/1- SheTech 2027 @ The College of Idaho from 8:30am-2pm- Registration will be through their website when it opens

Seniors

List of things to do:

Apply to Idaho Schools- Apply Idaho Application
Apply to Idaho Scholarships- Idaho Launch Grant
Send High School Transcripts- Use SCOIR to send transcripts
FAFSA- Students create an account and fill out the 2027-2028 application

I met with all seniors this week to complete all of the above tasks. Students received paper instructions and a virtual directions presentation in their College and Career Google Classroom. Starting next week I will be working individually with students to make sure they get these done.

Due Dec 15- 2026 Play Bold Scholarship for female athletes

Due Dec 15- Common App Scholarship

Due Feb 1- Boise Choristers Music Scholarship

Due 3/1- Idaho Power Scholarship: Academic Excellence $2,500

Due 3/1- Idaho Power Scholarship: Technical Scholarship $2,500

Due 3/1- Idaho Power Scholarship: Company Memorial Scholarship $1,000

Due March 8- Jiffy Lube What Drives You Scholarship

Due March 12- NFSF Scholarship for students interested in construction

Due in March- Boise School District and Capital High Scholarships
