The Golden Eagle Booster Club was formed in 2003 to support Capital High School’s Academics, Activities, and Athletics. The booster club supports the school in the following ways -
- organize volunteers for events, such as registration and picture day,
- sell spirit wear at live events, such as football games and back-to-school night,
- promote school community among the students, parents, and staff by hosting events, such as the Homecoming Tailgate Party,
- promote enthusiasm for the school by providing Future Eagle shirts that are distributed to the students at Capital’s feeder schools,
- provide financial support to the administration, teachers and coaches with funds raised through spirit wear sales, Fred Meyer rewards, and fundraising,
- coordinate online fundraising for the Capital Cares Fund which provides resources to the school’s social worker,
- coordinate online fundraising for the annual graduation party and provide logistical support to the parent organizing committee,
- create a bridge between our current students and our alumni by recognizing distinguished alumni for their personal, professional, or civic accomplishments since graduating from Capital, and
- administer the Facebook Group, Capital High School Alumni & Friends.
