Hello! I am the English as a New Language Teacher here at Capital High School. I am excited to be teaching here at CHS for my 2nd year, as I am an alumni with STRONG EAGLE PRIDE! 

I was raised in Boise and graduated from Capital High School in 2000. I earned my undergraduate degree at Washington State University in English/Secondary Education, and started my career teaching middle school English for 2 years in Las Vegas. I moved back to Boise in 2007 and taught 8th grade English and ELL at Eagle Middle School for 11 years. I earned my Masters in Teaching ELL in 2010 from Boise State.  I love to run, mountain bike, ski, and read. I have an adventurous husband, 2 spunky daughters, and a lazy golden retriever.
